Influencer Marketing & Instagram 2.0

Lodging Tax
Join Cactus and the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board for Influencer Marketing & Instagram 2.0 on Friday, October 11 at 9:00am at the Wort Hotel.

The Jackson Hole community has played a significant role in the Travel and Tourism marketing efforts, especially with use of #JacksonHole in last year's "There's More to Winter" campaign. In this session, we will build on last year's Instagram training by taking you through advanced Instagram features such as video and contests. We will also be introducing the concept of Influencer Marketing and demonstrate how to identify and leverage top influencers in your community to become part of a bigger conversation. Cactus will also offer individual one-on-one sessions during the next community session in November to discuss an Influencer Marketing strategy specific to your business.

InstagramRSVP to Kate Sollitt, info@4jacksonhole.org or 307.201.1774.

Lodging Tax Allows Chamber to Act Quickly

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Jackson acted quickly on behalf of our membership and the greater Jackson Hole community when we knew that there would be a lapse in federal government funding. Within a few hours of notification we opened a provisional visitor center at the Home Ranch, 201 North Cache Drive. Thanks to the funding from the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, the Chamber Visitor Services Department was well-prepared and able to act quickly. We have been referring members and sharing accurate and timely information with visitors and assisting them as they update lodging and activity plans. We also would like to extend our thanks to the Town of Jackson for allowing us to use the Home Ranch building for this emergency.

The Home Ranch visitor center is currently open daily from 9:00-6:00pm and staffed with Chamber employees who are boosting business in Jackson Hole by encouraging visitors to extend their stays. The Chamber will resume operations as soon as possible in the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center which is operated with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Bridger-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton Association, Grand Teton National Park, and Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
