Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival to Host Chamber Mixer with Center for the Arts: Tonight!



Jackson Hole Wildlife Film FestivalPlease join the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce for a Chamber Mixer with Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and the Center for the Arts on Thursday, February 28 from 5:00-7:00pm in Center for the Arts' theater lobby, 265 South Cache Street. The event will feature delicious treats from Persephone Bakery (soon to open a new retail location this spring), samples from Bon Appe Thai, and a special white wine tasting from Jackson Hole Winery. The Center for the Arts will provide select beverages.

About Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival: Now in its third decade, the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival's biennial five-day conference is an unmatched international industry event drawing 650+ leaders in science, conservation, broadcasting and media. The 2013 Festival is slated for the last week in September alongside the Jackson Hole Conservation Summit: Great Apes, a partnership with the United Nations. Both events will offer remarkable community programs with premier events and screenings at the Center for the Arts. About Center for the Arts: The Center for the Arts is a growing art center campus in downtown Jackson. On Ice Weekend in Jackson Hole



On Ice Weekend in Jackson Hole is a unique fundraising event centered featuring ice hockey, live music, and, of course, Jackson Hole!  Spring Creek Ranch and the Jackson Hole Moose Hockey Team will be the hosts for this year’s event set for March 7 – 10. The event benefits Jackson Hole Youth Hockey and the USA Warriors Hockey Program.

Who will be here? Alumni players include: Reed Larson, Stephane Yelle, Greg Adams, Shawn Chambers, US Olympian Dave Christian, plus many more Alumni and celebrity players battling our own Jackson Hole Moose Hockey Team.

Travel and Tourism Board: Did You Know?

Lodging Tax
Events draw visitors to the valley and encourage them to extend their stays. The Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board supports WinterFest, the celebration of winter in Jackson Hole. The event was introduced in 2011 to expand the festivities and visitor attraction of the Cutter Races. WinterFest will continue through Sunday, February 24. Look forward to snow sculpting, ski racing, and wine tasting!
