Tony Ligori Wins Golden Spur

Golden Spur The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee is pleased to announce that the Golden Spur was presented to Tony Ligori of JAC Transportation for showing true western hospitality to a traveler who needed assistance.

Tony was nominated by Carla, a mother from Tennessee, for taking care of her son, Brock, while he was on vacation. After falling ill while traveling with friends to Jackson Hole, Brock called a cab to take him to a medical clinic. Tony provided transportation to the clinic and returned two hours later to check on the patient. Tony then waited for Brock to fill a prescription before returning him to the hotel.

Carla said, "It really meant a lot to me and my husband that someone would be concerned and take the time to be so nice to him like that." She continued, "I wanted to write this letter and thank him and the city of Jackson Hole for being so generous."

The story even has a happy ending. After Brock received treatment, the group of friends was able to continue their vacation. Carla said, "These boys had the time of their life.  And I am sure will be back to visit you after they graduate from college." She concluded, "I would like to give him a mama's big thank you hug!"
